Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description

A growing property management company is seeking a hands-on Full-Charge Bookkeeper to take ownership of daily accounting and month-end financial activities across a portfolio of commercial properties. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, maintaining accurate financial records, and partnering with leadership to keep operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

+ Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and collections.

+ Maintain the general ledger and record monthly journal entries.

+ Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.

+ Track property-related income, expenses, vendor payments, and tenant charges.

+ Prepare monthly financial statements and property-level reporting.

+ Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.

+ Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on past-due balances.

+ Process vendor invoices, verify approvals, and schedule payments.

+ Maintain organized financial documentation and support annual tax preparation.

+ Coordinate with property managers and ownership on budget variances and financial questions.

Requirements

+ 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or full-cycle accounting experience.

+ Strong understanding of debits, credits, general ledger activity, and reconciliations.

+

Experience with Quick Books Online or similar accounting software.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

+ Property management or real estate accounting experience preferred.

+ Ability to manage deadlines independently while maintaining accurate records.
