Electrical Engineer II

The Electronics Engineer II formulates design concepts for engineering problems. They also lead technical projects, monitor project scope, and respond to engineering concerns.

• Applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform assigned tasks as part of a broader assignment
• Supports responses to customer RFIs & RFQs
• Supports SMPS development for efficient power conversion
• Works with cross-functional team members to identify and address critical performance parameters
• Develops and implements EMI/EMC compliant designs and other circuit protection designs including transient suppression, EMI filters, and shielding (Familiarity with MIL-STD-461 required)
• Oversees board layout development with attention to detail
• Performs research and analysis for design and development of new projects with minimal oversight
• Prepares and delivers presentations to communicate technical status, risks, and mitigation strategies for ongoing programs
• Supports development and updates to engineering drawings, documents, and reports
• Supports the development of new hardware prototypes to confirm manufacturability and performance levels
• Demonstrates understanding of general electronics terminology and test equipment

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline; OR six (6) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Ability to analyze system requirements
• Hands-on experience with power electronics, analog sensing, and signal integrity
• Experience in lieu of a degree may be considered

• This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware controlled by ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. You must be able to obtain a U.S. Government export license as required by law.
• Pay range: $80,161.61 - $ annually. Pay may vary based on location, job function, education, and experience.
