Job Description

We are seeking a curious and motivated Junior Civil or Environmental Engineer to join our small, mission-driven team. This hands‑on role offers exposure to all aspects of project delivery—from design to fieldwork—while providing the opportunity to learn directly from senior engineers. If you are eager to grow, ask questions, and contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects, we would love to meet you.

• Assist in the design of water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure systems.
• Support pipeline hydraulics and mechanical piping layout work.
• Draft and review civil drawings using AutoCAD.
• Conduct site visits and assist with field investigations.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers and leadership.
• Take initiative and contribute across technical and non‑technical areas.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience, including internships.
• Interest in water/wastewater systems and public infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proactive mindset.

• Experience in site development.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Understanding of land development, transportation design, solid waste management, construction management, and public works.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
