Manager, Data Ops, Platforms and Analytics

Join us as a full-time manager leading Data Ops, Platforms and Analytics at FASHIONPHILE in Carlsbad, CA. This hybrid role requires one day a week in our Carlsbad office.

Carlsbad, CA (hybrid; 1 day in office weekly)

• Design, build, and optimize BI solutions using data in the Enterprise Data Warehouse and AWS (Redshift, S3), delivering executive and functional dashboards, robust KPI definitions, and governed reporting.
• Integrate, configure, and roll out new BI and reporting tools; coordinate data integration efforts with data engineering, ensuring quality and fit‑for‑purpose reporting.
• Oversee day‑to‑day BI, reporting, and analytics operations, managing project intake, incident management, and delivery cycles to meet SLA commitments.
• Maintain a governed BI ecosystem, including semantic layers, KPI glossary, and monitoring of data lineage and quality.

• Master’s degree in data science, analytics, engineering, computer science, mathematics, business analytics, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of managing BI, reporting, and operational analytics teams, with hands‑on experience delivering executive dashboards and integrating cloud data warehouses.
• Certifications in Tableau, PMI, Scrum Master, AWS preferred.
• Experience building scalable BI/reporting ecosystems (Tableau, Looker, Sisense, Power BI, etc.) and strong technical expertise in AWS, Redshift, S3.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical and machine learning methods.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor technical teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Experience in agile environments and managing end‑to‑end analytics projects.

Salary range: $135,000–$145,000 annually, plus an annual bonus opportunity aligned with Manager level. Actual compensation may vary based on location, qualifications, and experience.
