Shipping Clerk

Sabre Sciences, Inc is a research laboratory and supplement manufacturer in Carlsbad CA. We are seeking a dedicated, reliable individual to join our team on-site as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk and help in our Production Department.

This is an entry level position with the possibility of full-time. 1-2 years shipping/receiving preferred

Must be able to lift/push upto 50lbs and stand upto 4 hours throughout the day. Working environment is listed below.

Hours M-F 12:00
-4:30

Hourly: $20.00

Sick, Holiday & Vacation Pay

Responsibilities Include:

Record Keeping of incoming and outgoing shipments, report damages and shortages

Inventory record keeping

Purchasing Supplies and Supplements for Resale – Record Keeping of POs and Packing Slips

Load and unload boxes, raw materials and operating supplies

Package outgoing shipments – upto 50lb boxes

Able to identify product types for packaging

Keep Shipping Department clean, organized and stocked

Labeling of products that are received. Record keeping of current labels and retired labels

Work alongside our Production Department to fulfill daily orders, approximately 1 hour per day.

Requirements Skills & Knowledge:

Experience with: USPS, UPS – Ship Gear, DHL, Trans Global & International shipping requirements

Basic computer knowledge with Microsoft Office

Strong Organizational Skills

Understanding of basic math

Excel knowledge preferred

Good Communication Skills, and team player

Customer Service Orientated

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Constant Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.

Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

1-2 years experience in warehouse/shipping/receiving; regulated environment preferred
