Material Handler - 1st Shift

The material handler is responsible for work order and materials transactions, moving, handling, and storing different materials between stock and inventory. They track and transact the material within the warehouse.

• Ensure that Finished Goods and WIP are transacted in the inventory system in a timely manner
• Resolve inaccuracies within transactions
• Assist in the movements and transactions of any products, materials, and parts using the inventory software
• Ensure orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory and delivering production materials and supplies when needed
• Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of material and parts
• Ensure that all material and parts are checked, safely stored, and ready to be issued to production when needed
• Keep a well‑maintained and updated account of stock, WIP, and inventory
• Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on material transfer request forms
• Handle and control stock material and ensure all materials are located and labeled correctly
• Issue and transport stock material to production and transact all material movement in the inventory system in a timely manner
• Carry out regular cycle counts and stock checks
• Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Previous stock or inventory experience
• Demonstrate deep understanding of supply chain and inventory management
• Demonstrate leadership abilities
• Background in manufacturing

• Data entry, math and computer skills
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Fishbowl experience a plus
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong sense of time organization and urgency
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational skills

: $35,984

Maximum Salary
: $61,152

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific will vary based on the actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.

At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
