Production Technician - 1st Shift Job Overview

Precisely cuts and profiles honeycomb parts to meet client specifications, while ensuring accurate measurements of size, angles, and dimensions. Also responsible for packaging and shipping as required.

• Directly reports to Production Supervisor for all work assignments.
• Cuts, profiles honeycomb parts to client specifications, including quality measurements/tolerances for size, angles and other dimensional requirements.
• Set up and operate all applicable tooling for specific job orders.
• Maintain applicable production shop machinery.
• Strict adherence to all related Work Instructions.
• Solid working knowledge of all shop equipment, tools and supply applications.
• Properly label finished parts and ready them for shipping.
• Understands shipping and receiving protocols and performs these tasks.
• Proven attention to detail while performing assignments with desire to work as a self-starter.
• Daily cleaning/organization of shop area, equipment and tools.
• Strict adherence to all shop regulations, Quality Assurance programs, company policies and safety protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must have H.S. diploma or GED.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Must be able to read basic measurement devices.
• Experience with measuring, weighing and testing.
• Must be able to lift 35lbs.
