Community Interface Services hiring a Job Coach! Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be supporting individuals with disabilities working within the Carlsbad to Cardiff area. Your responsibilities will include supporting prioritizing tasks, completing their work efficiently, and facilitating the relationship between the employer and the person you support. You are not responsible for their work but rather advocate for any support or accommodation needed offering personalized job coaching, you will help individuals develop their skills and confidence in the workplace, empowering them to thrive in their roles.
You will need to convey instructions clearly while also listening to the needs of those you support. Patience and empathy will be key as you provide guidance and encouragement, fostering a supportive environment. Problem-solving skills are necessary to navigate challenges that may arise in the workplace and to help individuals overcome barriers. A proactive approach and adaptability will allow you to tailor your coaching methods to suit each person's unique abilities, driving their success within their workplace.

This position earns a starting range of $23-25 per hour, with an open availability schedule Monday-Friday and some Saturdays.
