Elementary Music Teacher

Under the supervision of the School Principal, facilitate student success in academic and interpersonal skills by implementing district-approved curriculum, documenting progress, addressing individual educational needs, creating a safe and flexible learning environment, and providing feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding progress, expectations, and goals.

• As established by the New Mexico Public Education Department
• Bachelor’s degree
• Valid New Mexico teaching license with endorsements as needed
• Pass a background check

• Signing Expenses:
  Level III License ($20,000), Level II License ($15,000), Level I License ($10,000)
• Relocation Expenses:
  Up to 100 miles ($2,500), 101-299 miles ($3,500), 300+ miles ($4,500)

All incentives are paid upon completion of employment paperwork, background check, and signing of the employment contract. Incentives are paid in installments across the school year, with specific dates listed in the original description. Eligibility requires being a new employee not employed in a certified capacity during the  school year.

Employment is full-time at an entry level seniority, in the Education and Training function within Primary and Secondary Education industry. Referrals can increase interview chances. Other teaching positions with similar incentives are also available.
