Bachelor's degree in education, career and technical education, workforce development, student services, or a related field and three (3) years of professional experience directly related to the duties of the position. Demonstrated experience in program development, educational project leadership, and curriculum or pathway mapping. Experience conducting successful community outreach and family engagement programs, particularly those related to affordable higher education and career pathways.

Associate degree in a related field and five (5) years of professional experience directly related to the duties of the position; or a high school diploma (or equivalent) and seven (7) years of professional experience directly related to the duties of the position. Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be considered as approved by the Human Resources Department.

Under the supervision of the Director of Skills, Knowledge, and Transfer, the Activity Manager manages the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of Activity 1 of the FORGE proposal. This position establishes implementation plans, organizes project priorities, and manages timelines and deliverables within the approved grant scope and under the Director’s direction.

The Activity Manager oversees the development and implementation of the Career Center in collaboration with the Student Career and Pathway Coordinator, supports alignment of educational pathways with labor market demands and postsecondary transfer opportunities, and leads community and family outreach. This position is accountable for monitoring progress toward Objectives 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3, evaluating outcomes, and recommending improvements to achieve established project goals.

This position is funded through the FORGE grant. Continued employment is contingent upon the availability of grant funding and ongoing program needs. The position is expected to end upon completion of the grant or earlier if funding is reduced or discontinued.

• Manage the planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of Activity 1 of the FORGE proposal, establishing implementation plans and priorities aligned with approved objectives and project outcomes.
