Job Description - Technician, Senior Communications (000FO8) DescriptionEnterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products, and petrochemicals. Our services include:
- Natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation, and storage;
- NGL transportation, fractionation, storage, and import/export terminals;
- Crude oil gathering, transportation, storage, and terminals;
- Petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage, and terminals;
- A marine transportation business operating primarily on U.S. inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems.
The partnership’s assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products, and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity.
Position OverviewThe Senior Communications Technician will provide regional telecommunications support. This role requires a highly motivated individual capable of working independently to support a wide range of communication systems across a large geographic area.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- An Associate's degree in Electronics or 7 years of equivalent experience in electronics.
- FCC license preferred.
- A network certification such as CCNA is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in installation and/or maintenance of telecommunications systems, including wireless data, SCADA, and LAN cabling systems.
- Experience with phone systems and microwave communications systems is a plus.
- Ability to utilize test equipment and software to support telecommunications systems in the field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize activities.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with internal and external teams/clients.
- Physical ability to work outdoors and operate a motor vehicle safely.
