Technician, Senior Communications

The Senior Communications Technician will provide regional telecommunications support. This role requires a highly motivated individual capable of working independently to support a wide range of communication systems across a large geographic area.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• An Associate's degree in Electronics or 7 years of equivalent experience in electronics.
• FCC license preferred.
• A network certification such as CCNA is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in installation and/or maintenance of telecommunications systems, including wireless data, SCADA, and LAN cabling systems.
• Experience with phone systems and microwave communications systems is a plus.
• Ability to utilize test equipment and software to support telecommunications systems in the field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize activities.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with internal and external teams/clients.
• Physical ability to work outdoors and operate a motor vehicle safely.
