Position Information: This will be an Auto Offer Position. The Pharmacist is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages, employees, and designated areas of the hospital. Responsibilities include collaboration with physicians on drugs and dosing, education of nursing staff, patients, and physicians regarding medications, medication safety initiatives, patient profiles, avoidance and reporting of adverse drug reactions, mixing of IV admixtures and nutritional supplements, and narcotic accountability.
Schedule: Days:
Mon - Fri 0730 - 1700;
Rotating Sat & Sun . Rotating On-call coverage Mon - Fri ;
Weekends . The facility does not have 24/7 in-house pharmacy coverage.
Requirements: NM Pharmacy License & BLS required. Option for 48-hour guarantee and blocked scheduling. EMR:
Med Host.
