Data Analyst, Systems Analyst
Cape Fox subsidiary, Eagle Health, LLC is seeking a highly organized and motivated Junior Analyst (Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Specialist) to join our team in support of a Department of the Interior (DOI) Bureau of Indian Affairs client. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while applying GIS methodologies, conducting spatial data analysis, digitizing and managing geospatial datasets, and providing technical support for GIS applications and systems.

The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position is: $68,700 to $75,100
The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, we offer a variety of benefits, including company holidays, paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, as well as a 401K with company match. CoreDuties
- Perform routine assignments associated with the implementation of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in support of project or task requirements
- Prepare draft inputs to program documentation under the direct supervision of management; review final draft documents for completeness and conformity to requirements
- Support functional areas including acquisition management, business process improvement, organizational planning, and program/project management
- Implement analytical techniques to solve recurring, procedural, and factual geospatial and GIS issues (e.g., identifying data needs, assessing platform compatibility, locating missing information)
- Digitize geographic information by translating raw land-based data into code. Identify interrelationships within data, apply geographic layers, and produce spatial analyses and derivative maps to support effective natural resource management
- Reconcile coding errors, resolve recurring technical problems, and ensure consistency across geospatial datasets
- Analyze cumulative impacts of environmental factors and perform basic 3D/spatial analysis and geospatial modeling to evaluate resource distribution and behavior
- Conduct research to obtain information from existing databases and compile geographic data from multiple sources
- Provide technical user support and troubleshooting assistance for recurring Geographical Information Systems hardware and application software issues
