Where will you work: Onsite at 1361 Potash Mines Rd, Carlsbad, NM 88220

• Identify and correct safety hazards/issues and perform maintenance and repairs on conveyor systems.
• Service mobile equipment and assist in installations and upgrades.
• Work overtime including callouts as required.

• Use necessary equipment and tools such as belt splicing tools, mechanical hand tools, belt tractor, mantrip, forklift.
• Follow instructions, analyze, monitor, and learn new processes and procedures.
• Read, write, and understand basic mathematics.
• Exercise independent judgment and decision-making.
• Maintain good attendance and comply with company rules and regulations.

• Experience as a Belt Crew (Belt Crew Trainee Grade 8 until training is complete) or up to Grade 9 Belt Crew.
• Ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting (up to 50 lbs.), stooping, bending, walking, kneeling, and working at various heights.
• Proven ability to manage risks in a mining environment.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with all safety rules and regulations.
• Participation in Safe-Production Activities.
• No active safety discipline notices or final warnings within the past 12 months.

• Ability to lift 0-25 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to climb stairs and work at various heights.
• Visual and auditory acuity, with or without correction.
• Ability to read, write, and understand basic English.
• Use fine motor skills and wear a respirator.
• Work rotating shifts and overtime, including 12-hour shifts.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
