Capitan Energy, Inc. is a company based out of Carlsbad, New Mexico, United States. This is a full-time on-site role, based in Orla, TX, for a Lease Operator. The Lease Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment, reporting production data, and ensuring optimal performance of oil and gas wells. This role will report directly to the Production Superintendent. Daily tasks include performing routine maintenance, conducting safety inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and coordinating with team members for operational efficiency.

Schedule is 8 days on, 6 days off. Role will require, on average, 10 hour days, with possibility of 12-14 hour days when new wells are brought online. Company truck (Ford Raptor 2023+ model) provided, along with all tools, PPE and other equipment needed for the role including company cell phone and computer. Medical, dental and vision insurance available immediately and are paid for by Capitan after 2 years employment.

Competitive salary, with incentive and substantial annual "Christmas Bonus". Retention bonus is also given every 3 years.

• Minimum 3 years pumping experience
• Experience with gas lift, ESPs and other artificial lift methods
• Experience with production equipment and completion processes
• Knowledge of the oil & gas industry and related best practices
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus
