American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and NM or compact RN licensure.

• General Medical-Surgical inpatient nursing unit, including Rehab
• Occasional non-critical pediatric patients on the floor
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift schedule, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Floating required
• No regular on-call schedule, though census-based flex on-call may occur prior to shift start
• Uses Med Host EMR
• Any color scrubs permitted

• Active RN license (NM or compact) required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• Active driver's license and US Social Security Number required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Fingerprinting is required for all New Mexico travelers, which can take several weeks to process
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Travelers who have worked at the facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered
• Blocked scheduling and 48-hour guarantees may be accommodated if requested at the time of application
