American Traveler is hiring a Travel ICU RN with 2+ years of ICU experience and a NM or compact RN license for a 13-week day shift assignment.

• 12-bed Intensive Care Unit with patient ratio of 1:2-3
• Provides ICU total patient care including ventilator management, titratable drips, and hygiene care
• Day shift schedule, 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• Floating required to Emergency Services and Med-Surg departments based on a float rotation log
• No on-call requirements
• Holiday coverage required
• Uses Med Host EMR

• Active NM or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 2+ years of recent ICU experience required
• ER and Med-Surg experience preferred
• TNCC certification preferred
• Experience with ventilators, titratable drips, medication mixing, and patient hygiene care preferred
• Fingerprinting required for all NM travelers
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start

• When floating to Emergency Services, nurse assists with call lights, medication administration, patient transport, IV starts, and blood draws rather than taking a full patient assignment
• When floating to Med-Surg, nurse may take a full patient assignment of up to 6 patients or serve as an aide for up to 12 patients
• Scrub color is unrestricted
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local travelers are not accepted
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Travelers who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
