Position Summary:

The Entry-Level Panel Technician supports the fabrication, assembly, and installation of electrical control panels and enclosures. This hands-on role includes shop work, occasional fieldwork, and opportunities for technical growth in electrical systems, automation, and programming. Candidates must be reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels using schematics, layout drawings, and BOMs

• Mount enclosures on skids and industrial structures

• Thread and install conduit and pipe as needed

• Assist with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of panels prior to shipment

• Deliver and pick up parts/tools from field sites

• Participate in field installations and on-site work as needed

• Learn to program Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs under supervision

• Operate or learn to operate the CNC machine and forklift

• Maintain a clean, organized work environment

• Follow all safety standards, policies, and UL 508A requirements

• Work overtime and weekends when needed to meet project deadlines

• Stay engaged with team goals and communicate effectively with coworkers

• Not afraid to get dirty and perform hands-on labor

• Comfortable with computers and basic Excel tasks

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus

• Forklift experience or willingness to be trained

• CNC machine familiarity is a plus

• Mechanically inclined with a desire to learn programming

• Basic understanding of electrical systems or willingness to learn

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks

• Willingness to travel locally for fieldwork

• Punctual, reliable, and open to working extended hours when required
