Outside Sales Representative

Overview

Empire Today is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to meet face-to-face with customers in their homes within the Bergen, NJ area. The role offers uncapped commissions, commission bonuses, and incentives, with paid training and benefits available. This position emphasizes high activity with pre-qualified leads and strong earning potential.

Hot leads are generally within a 1-hour radius. You can leverage the strength of the Empire brand to generate additional referrals and prospect new customers.

• Represent the Empire Today brand while meeting customers in their homes and delivering flooring solutions that meet their needs
• Engage with pre-qualified leads and convert interest into sales
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions (in person or virtually)
• Use a tablet and measuring devices to facilitate diagramming and contract preparation
• Present professionally in Empire-branded apparel

• Valid driver s license and a vehicle with room for flooring sample boards
• Valid auto insurance
• Ability to lift and carry at least 25 lbs
• Evening and weekend availability for appointments
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work with electronic tablets and measuring devices for sales presentations
• Willingness to travel within the assigned area
