Vehicle Technician - Carmarthen

Our client, a prominent franchise-approved car dealer group operating throughout South West Wales, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy dealership in Carmarthen. This Vehicle Technician position offers an excellent opportunity for skilled automotive professionals to develop their careers within a reputable and expanding organisation.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards
  • Ensure accurate identification of vehicle faults and communicate findings effectively to the Service Manager
  • Maintain high levels of quality and safety when working on vehicles
  • Adhere to procedural standards set by the manufacturer and client
  • Work efficiently within a busy dealership environment, meeting targets and deadlines
  • Keep detailed records of work performed and parts used as a Vehicle Technician
  • Assist colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent as a minimum
  • At least 1–2 years’ practical experience post-qualification
  • Full UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Strong commitment to quality work and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work well within a team and adhere to health and safety standards
  • Motivated individual with a professional attitude and a desire to progress within the motor trade
