Here at JN Bentley we are looking for enthusiastic and positive Groundworks General Foremen to work on civils sites, ideally located in the West Wales area. In the role you will supervise several gangs and support Site Managers on various civils sites predominantly within the water industry. Experience with in the water industry and/or heavy civils infrastructure is essential. You will have a proactive attitude towards work and health and safety, with ideally experience overseeing civils works within the water industry and general civils work such as concreting, deep drainage and pipe laying.

Overview of the role and key context for candidates.

• Supervise several gangs and support Site Managers on civils sites, predominantly within the water industry.
• Oversee civils works such as concreting, deep drainage and pipe laying.
• Conduct daily briefings, site inductions, method statement rollout and progress meetings.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting, and risk and method statement creation.
• Ensure high standards of health and safety compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of Permits to Work.

• Experience managing gangs on civils projects within the water industry (water treatment sites or reservoirs).
• Positive attitude and high standards of health and safety.
• Current CSCS, CPCS or NPORS; SSSTS/SMSTS;
  Full UK Driving Licence;
  Confident IT skills.
• Experience budgeting and forecasting; experience creating risk and method statements.
• Experience conducting daily briefings, site inductions, method statement rollout and progress meetings.
• Knowledge of Permits to Work.
