THE ROLE The UWTSD Cardiff campus is one of the three Institute of Management and Health campuses in Wales. Initial provision of the CertHE Health and Social Care will extend into flexi weekday/weekend delivery at the Cardiff Campus. This programme resides within the School of Health and Care with a view to deliver a pathway to a full degree award. These programmes delivered in Cardiff have multiple intakes per annum, delivers continuous learning, teaching and recruitment cycles and operates in an intensely competitive inner-city and multicultural HE environment.

The post holder is expected to deliver teaching in the Cardiff campus and use a variety of teaching styles and approaches, including all levels of undergraduate study and, where appropriate, postgraduate study. The post holder may be required to develop a range of teaching and assessment materials, covering specified modules and subject areas and may lead on modules and programmes in particular:
Public Health, Health and Social Care Policy, Digital Health Promotion, Quality Assurance in Health and Social Care, Partnership Working and Service Integration in Health and Social Care Systems, Mental Health, and Safeguarding. The post holder will offer both academic and pastoral feedback and support to students to the highest professional standards and with regard to the ongoing enhancement of the student experience.

The post holder will undertake scholarship, training or project work, either individually or within a team, to ensure ongoing professional development and to enhance the profile of the Institute and the University. The post holder will make a positive contribution to the day-to-day activities that may cover areas such as student recruitment, marketing activities, research seminars and workshops, staff training and professional development.
