Teaching Personnel are currently seeking confident, reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in the Swansea and Carmarthenshire areas.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher to deliver pre‑set work, maintain a positive learning environment, and ensure students stay engaged and on task.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with experience working with young people who is looking to gain valuable school‑based experience.

• Supervise whole classes during teacher absence
• Deliver pre‑prepared lesson materials
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Ensure students complete work and remain engaged
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson outcomes

We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds, but the following is desirable:

• Degree (or working towards one) – particularly in Education or a core subject
• Previous experience working with young people (schools, coaching, youth work, tutoring etc.)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Access to transport is beneficial for travel across local schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
