Agency: Teaching Personnel
Pay: £14.25 per hour
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (Monday–Friday)

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Additional Learning Needs (ALN) schools across the Carmarthenshire area.

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a real impact by supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, helping them to thrive and reach their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with ALN
  • Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and interventions
  • Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willing to register
  • Experience working with children or individuals with ALN (desirable)
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Supporting Teaching & Learning, or similar) are advantageous
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable, but not essential)
