Wellbeing Officer

Ysgol Gyfun Emlyn is hiring a Behaviour and Wellbeing Support Officer to promote equitable and inclusive support for learners requiring additional help with behaviour, mental health and emotional wellbeing. The successful candidate will provide inclusive support for pupils with significant behavioural, emotional and social difficulties (BESD), working with person‑centred principles and delivering needs‑led interventions and strategies to enable learners to progress and overcome barriers to learning.

• Provide inclusive support for pupils with BESD.
• Implement person‑centred, needs‑led interventions and strategies to support learner progress.
• Collaborate with staff to promote safeguarding and welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

• Good level of conversational Welsh (Level
  3).
• Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check – an Enhanced Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service check will be requested for this role.
• Applicants barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children or adults at risk are not eligible to apply.

Salary: £33,344 – £37,817 (depending on experience).
