We are looking for a motivated and proactive Young Carers Education Development Officer to deliver the Fair Futures for Young Carers programme across Carmarthenshire. Working with secondary schools, targeted primary schools and education partners, you will help improve the identification, understanding and support of young carers, ensuring their voices help shape school practice and services.
You will have:
- Experience working with children, young people, families or education settings.
- Confidence delivering training, workshops and awareness sessions.
- Strong communication and partnership-building skills.
- An understanding of the challenges young carers face in education.
- Good organisational, reporting and IT skills.
- The ability to travel across Carmarthenshire.
Welsh language skills and experience working with young carers are desirable.

Please note:
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, insured for business use, are essential requirements for this role due to regular travel across Carmarthenshire.
35 hours per week | £29,283 per annum pro rata | Fixed Term until October 2029 | Carmarthenshire
