an exciting opportunity has arisen within steffan ward at glangwili general hospital for the appointment of staff nurses. The ward is an 18‑bedded ward specialising in gastroenterology and haematology.

the ward has a fantastic supportive team, providing an environment which enables both teaching and learning and encourages personal development, working with the nmc code of conduct and hospital policies. Support can be provided through education and mentorship to build confidence for newly registered, those new to and/or returning to acute care.

• current nmc registration.
• degree in nursing.
• evidence of post registration study and training e.g. Pova.
• intermediate life support if required in clinical setting.
• evidence of post registration study and training e.g. Child protection.
• pre‑registration evidence in direct nursing care.
• experience of providing holistic nursing care.
• interest in developing nursing skills.

• clear understanding of clinical governance framework.
• implement evidence based practice.
• welsh speaker (level
  1).
