What you will do

Perform microtomy of histology tissue samples to a high standard.

Undertake precise tissue embedding and support routine Histopathology laboratory processes.

Conduct general Biomedical Scientist duties and ensure accurate specimen handling and processing.

Maintain laboratory quality and safety standards, upholding best practices in all tasks.

Requirements

Experience working within a Histopathology laboratory.

Competence in microtomy and tissue embedding.

Ability to work efficiently in a busy diagnostic environment with strong attention to detail.

Prior experience as a Biomedical Scientist.

Recent NHS Histopathology experience is a plus.

Ability to manage a broad range of Histopathology tasks, showing flexibility and expertise.

Familiarity with UK laboratory quality systems.
