Come and join our teamWe are looking for motivated, driven and customer focused individuals who believe they can make a real difference on advising Carmarthenshire residents of our recycling initiatives.
As a division we service all households within County, by providing residents with a kerbside recycling scheme and various other reuse and recycling initiatives. Your role will be to ensure that residents are equipped with the information required to participate in the blue bag recycling and food waste schemes in particular. In doing this raising awareness of what should not be placed in the black bag, and advising of other schemes available.
You will help and support residents by raising awareness of the recycling schemes available to them, and assist the Authority in progressing with achieving Welsh Government recycling targets.
You will be committed to delivering the best outcomes for residents whilst following the reuse, reduce, recycle ethos.
You will be an excellent team player with the ability to work effectively with others and confident in your approach. You will need to have an assured approach to dealing with residents on a one to one basis as well as in public meetings where you will be confident in presenting on waste and recycling information to community groups.
You will need to be able to accommodate flexible working patterns, comprising of predetermined weekend working and varying weekday hours. You will need an understanding of Carmarthenshire recycling schemes although training will be given on appointment.
