Hygiene Technician

Castell Howell Foods is Wales’ leading independent food service wholesaler, servicing the length and breadth of Wales, the Border Counties and the South West of England. We currently have a vacancy for Hygiene Technician based at our Farm Fresh production unit in Carmarthen.

• Maintain cleaning schedule of production areas, machinery, floors, walls, ceilings and strip curtains
• Maintain the cleanliness of the changing facilities, lockers, hand wash sinks, dispensers, boots and aprons
• Ensure appropriate standards of hygiene are maintained for ongoing BRCGS certification
• Ensure the cleanliness of all high-risk and low-risk drains
• Replenish stock in all soap and sanitiser dispensers daily and blue roll dispensers, when required
• Maintain the cleanliness of the external areas of the building, courtyard, loading bay, side and rear of building
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning chemicals and PPE and inform Technical Department when levels are low
• Complete all relevant daily paperwork

Relevant previous experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

• A part-time position working Monday to Friday, 16:00-20:00
• £14,404.00 per annum
• 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays. You may be expected to work some Bank Holidays if required.
