Registered Nurse; RGN - Care Home

Overview

Full time 36hrs contract for days and nights.

As a Registered Nurse at a Barchester care home, you’ll look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents to help us deliver the quality care they deserve. You’ll create a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental needs, using your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions. You can expect to work on a wide range of responsibilities, from developing tailored care plans to providing medicines safely and delivering excellence in everything you do.

As a Registered Nurse (RGN), you’ll have the autonomy to do things the right way and be valued and respected for your work.

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, addressing physical, psychological and social needs.
• Develop and deliver tailored care plans and conduct risk assessments in line with regulatory requirements.
• Administer medications safely and monitor residents for effectiveness and adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, person-centred care.
• Utilise professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions and ensure safety and quality of care.

You’ll need to have current NMC registration and up-to-date clinical knowledge to join us as a Registered Nurse (RGN). Experience in creating well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments is important, as is an understanding of regulatory frameworks including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
