Ready to support children and young people with vision impairment to navigate their world with confidence?

We are seeking an exceptional and committed Qualified Habilitation Specialist to play a vital role in improving the lives, independence and wellbeing of children and young people with vision impairment across Carmarthenshire. This unique and rewarding position involves supporting individuals aged 0-19 to develop essential life, mobility and independence skills through personalised programmes delivered in home, school and community settings. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with families, education staff and health professionals.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or experienced practitioner passionate about supporting children and young people with vision impairment to make a lasting difference through high-quality, child-centred practice. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, a collaborative approach and a commitment to inclusion, alongside a willingness to learn, travel and grow within a specialist field.
