We are recruiting on behalf of our nonprofit client in Carmel, IN for a Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to support their accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced A/P professional seeking a consistent 25-30-hour-per-week schedule with hybrid flexibility.

Schedule & Work Arrangement

• Approximately 25-30 hours per week
• 2 days per week onsite in Carmel
• Remaining hours may be worked remotely or in the office
• Consistent weekday schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Process, code, and review vendor invoices for accuracy and proper approvals
• Process vendor payments and employee expense reimbursements
• Reconcile accounts and research discrepancies
• Review and maintain general ledger detail related to internal billings
• Review credit card activity for appropriate documentation, budget coding, and approvals
• Maintain vendor information and respond to payment inquiries
• Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
• Support established accounting procedures and internal controls
• Assist with additional transactional accounting needs as needed
