Construction Project Engineer Indianapolis, IN
Our client is an Indianapolis construction firm who is seeking a Construction Project Engineer or an Assistant Project Manager with a minimum of 2+ years of construction experience to be a part of their team.
Construction Project Engineer Responsibilities:- Conduct regular meetings to ensure clarification and meet specific requirements in a timely manner
- Will work in construction management office and in the field to conduct different tasks
- Will conduct walkthroughs and coordinate and update schedules
- Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in all aspects of the project
- Assist in the collection of costs, their proper allocation and reporting
- Assist with equipment suppliers and subcontractor coordination
- Communicating, interacting and interacting with subcontractors, customers, installers, associates and key stakeholders in a professional manner
- Assist Project Team with RFI reports, change orders, and any other documentation requested by the Project Manager.
- Collect and log closeout documents and punch list
Qualifications:
- Experience utilizing Pro Core Construction Management software
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field, preferred
- A strong understanding of the construction process
- 2+ years minimum of actual construction Project Engineer experience
