Patient Access Advocate – Part‑time Nights, Carmel

Part‑time Nights – 7:00 pm – 7:00 am – Front Desk Receptionist in a hybrid Emergency Room/Urgent Care Intuitive Health facility.

• Greet patients, answer phone, manage patient check‑in/check‑out, verify benefits, collect copayments.
• Maintain patient files, screen calls, provide company information.
• Ensure front desk, waiting room, and children’s play area are clean, presentable, and safe.
• Perform clerical duties: copying, scanning, faxing, copying documents.
• Follow HIPAA policies and company procedures, maintain a friendly, respectful work environment.

• High school diploma or GED; minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office a plus.
• Proficient computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook); phone and credit card machine use.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence, follow detailed written or oral instructions.
• Basic math skills, ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize demands.
• Must be able to stand, walk, use hands, reach, sit, talk, and lift up to 10 lbs; no special vision requirements.
