Base Pay Range

$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

About the Position

Hearing Evaluation Services of Buffalo, a well‑established non‑profit practice in Amherst, Williamsville, Tonawanda, and Orchard Park, NY, is seeking a full‑time Audiologist. Our mission is to reduce the negative impact of hearing impairment, tinnitus, or dizziness on patients’ health, lifestyle, and communicative abilities.

We provide highly qualified Audiologists supported by state‑of‑the‑art testing equipment and hearing device technology. Our Audiologists specialize in tinnitus, vestibular, cochlear implants, bone conduction systems, and other areas. Since 1981, we have been caring for the Western New York community and depend on word‑of‑mouth referrals.

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Establish effective rapport with patients and their family members, setting realistic expectations regarding hearing loss and hearing aid recommendations.
  • Accurately conduct comprehensive audiometric evaluations, emphasizing best practices.
  • Make ear impressions.
  • Conduct hearing aid fittings and follow‑up care using best practices.
  • Perform cerumen management.
  • Maintain documentation and patient files in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Active NYS hearing aid dispensing license and NYS Audiologist license, or eligibility to obtain.
  • Master’s or Au.D. will be considered.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
  • Strong desire to treat hearing loss by dispensing appropriate hearing aids or recommending other interventions.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional interaction with patients, physicians, and team members.
