Belden is seeking a highly strategic, technically astute, and commercially savvy Director of Go-to-Market (GTM) Content and Strategy to join our Innovation Strategy & Operations team. This pivotal role will bridge deep technical expertise with market insight to craft compelling value propositions and comprehensive go-to-market strategies for Belden’s innovative and emerging products and solutions.

You will be responsible for translating complex technical features of our networking, security, IT/OT, and industrial data communication offerings into clear, impactful, and customer‑centric narratives. A key aspect of this role will be leading Belden's technical education and certification programs, ensuring our internal teams, partners, and customers are expertly trained and certified on our advanced technologies. Reporting into the Innovation function, you will play a critical role in shaping the technical and market narrative for both existing and nascent technologies, guiding Product Line Managers (PLMs), Solution Line Managers (SLMs), and innovation teams in developing messaging that resonates with diverse technical and business personas, ultimately accelerating the commercialization of Belden's next generation of offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic GTM Content & Positioning
  • Develop and refine value propositions and ideal customer profiles for nascent technologies, innovative solutions, and new business models emerging from Belden's innovation pipeline.
  • Drive the narrative for Belden's innovation initiatives, translating complex R&D and technical capabilities into clear, customer‑centric stories that highlight future value, market disruption, and differentiation.
  • Serve as a coach and mentor to PLMs, SLMs, and innovation teams, helping them simplify and sharpen market messaging for both established and emerging offerings.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into customer‑centric narratives that drive engagement and differentiation across various market segments.
  • Technical Education & Certification Program Leadership
  • Lead the strategy, design, development, and delivery of Belden's technical education and certification programs (e.g., 101–201–301 portfolio).
  • Ensure these programs are world‑class, scalable, and effectively equip internal teams, partners, and customers with the knowledge and skills required for Belden's networking, security, IT/OT, and edge computing solutions.
  • Drive the technical education engine – from design to production, delivery, and reporting – ensuring the certification portfolio is continuously updated to reflect new technologies and market needs.
  • Technical Marketing Leadership
  • Lead the strategy, development, and execution of high‑quality technical marketing content, including whitepapers, application notes, solution briefs, competitive analysis, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and architectural guides.
  • Develop clear, concise, and impactful technical messaging that articulates the unique value and differentiation of Belden's solutions to various technical personas (e.g., engineers, architects, IT managers, OT specialists).
  • Conduct in‑depth technical competitive analysis, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and market opportunities to inform product development, marketing strategies, and sales enablement.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Enablement
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Product/Solution Management, Corporate Marketing, Sales, and Strategic Partnerships to ensure message‑market fit for new offerings and align GTM strategies for successful incubation and launch.
