Senior Configuration Management Analyst (Service Now Experience)
Based in Carmel, Indiana, the Senior Configuration Management Analyst will manage and execute the configuration management process, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and supporting MISO’s IT service management initiatives.
CompensationBase salary range: $113,000 – $131,000 per year. Annual bonus may be awarded based on performance. MISO offers a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), vacation, sick leave, and paid maternity/paternity leave.
Responsibilities- Partner with IT Service Management leadership to enhance processes, optimize performance, and maintain service quality using Service Now.
- Develop and maintain CMDB standards within Service Now, ensuring CI data accuracy and alignment with policies, naming conventions, and compliance requirements.
- Support configuration and change management processes by identifying and remediating unauthorized CI changes, conducting audits and reconciliations, and maintaining visibility into IT environment health.
- Design and deliver dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights on KPIs and CSFs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to operationalize services, improve CMDB data integrity, and implement process and tooling enhancements that strengthen ITIL‑based practices.
- Proactively identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and reliability enhancements using Service Now capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 7 years of Configuration Management (CMDB) experience.
- Service Now experience required.
- ITIL Foundations certification (preferred).
- ITIL Operational Support & Analysis or Service Operation intermediate certification (preferred).
