Manager, Collateral Services

This position will serve as the single point of contact for all Collateral Services associated with the management, administration, and support of Pre SKIP and Recovery Asset Management services offered through product delivery to direct clients and through the technology client-facing applications. The role also coordinates activities between ETG, Product, Sales, and Service and manages a team of 5-8 recovery representatives.

• Ensure timely, thorough, and accurate resolution to clients from all vendor services.
• Conduct direct client communication, investigate issues, determine root causes, and direct to appropriate parties.
• Participate in client implementation and client meetings as needed.

• Train, develop, and mentor Collateral Services Supervisors, Recovery Adjusters, Specialists, or Processors.
• Direct the selection, development, deployment, and evaluation of the assigned Collateral Services team.
• Identify, develop, and retain high-performing employees ready to fill critical roles.
• Manage staff performance, implement development strategies, and provide frequent performance feedback.
• Develop and implement strategies to address Recovery Professional and Unit Team Leader and Supervisor development.
• Provide enhanced technical leadership to strengthen product/technical development of the staff.
• Handle administrative duties within the line of business, including data reports, performance metrics, and salary administration.
• Ensure staff maintain a connection with the customer, serving with empathy and following up to meet needs.

• Overall management of business-related aspects of Collateral Services products and services.
• Focus on resolution and process improvement while maximizing cost effectiveness.
• Serve as the business subject matter expert for all Collateral Services products.
• Implement policies and procedures under higher-level management direction.
• Manage all Service Report issues related to Collateral Services products and applications.
• Provide sales and client support related to Collateral Services products.
• Fiscal management related to third-party supplier services for Collateral Services products.
• Aggregate, score card, and analyze data related to recovery suppliers and adjust volume distribution based on performance.

• Assist Claims senior management as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5-7 Years of work-related experience required.
• 3-4 years of leadership experience required.
• Experience in auto lending recovery, collections, repossession, skip tracing, and remarketing.
