POSITION OVERVIEW
Pence Media Group (PMG) is seeking a Senior Marketing + Communications Strategist to drive integrated campaigns that elevate client visibility, strengthen reputation, and deliver measurable results across private, public, and nonprofit sectors. This hybrid role blends high-level marketing and PR strategy with hands‑on campaign execution—making it ideal for a strategist who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
You’ll play a key role in shaping narratives, leading multi-channel marketing initiatives, securing earned media, and ensuring campaigns are strategically aligned with client goals. This role will work closely with the Director of Marketing Services + Strategic Communications to guide client strategies and oversee implementation.
We’re looking for someone with sharp marketing instincts and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling campaigns that resonate across platforms. A passion for storytelling, confidence in client leadership, and a results-driven mindset are essential. This is a full‑time, hybrid position, with the expectation that you will contribute 40 hours per week, with in-person meetings in the Indianapolis area or at our headquarters in Carmel.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or related field (Master’s a plus)
- 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, public relations, or integrated communications—preferably in an agency or consulting environment
- Proven track record of leading integrated marketing + PR campaigns from strategy through execution, delivering measurable results in brand visibility, engagement, and ROI
- Expertise in marketing strategy development, including campaign planning, audience segmentation, messaging frameworks, and KPI measurement
