Job Description - Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Overview

• Masters-prepared APRN
• Focus on improving patient outcomes, nursing practice, staff development, and system-wide quality initiatives.

• Clinical expert and consultant for perioperative nursing practice.
• Lead staff education, competency development, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Drive quality improvement projects and participate in research activities.
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
• Mentor and support nursing staff professional growth and clinical excellence.

• MSN with Clinical Nurse Specialist specialization required.
• Active Indiana RN license or compact RN license; eligible to practice as a CNS in Indiana.
• 3-5+ years of advanced clinical experience, preferably in specialty supporting
