Sales Associate

Responsibilities- Understand and align with organizational objectives and company priorities.
- Own and deliver results while monitoring personal and store metrics, and develop sales and clienteling strategies.
- Create short‑ and long‑term plans to achieve personal metrics and performance goals.
- Analyze survey results and implement improvement plans.
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador and demonstrate service and selling expectations at all times.
- Adapt to local market changes and support the execution of local sales strategies and tactics.
- Drive business through sales strategies, clienteling, sourcing new customers, and maintaining productive relationships.
- Present a professional appearance in accordance with Coach’s Guide to Style.
- Communicate fashion awareness and strong knowledge of the competition.
- Provide in‑depth product knowledge, including features, benefits, current offerings, and overall product value.
- Communicate current pricing and promotional strategies clearly.
- Build the sale by cross‑selling and encouraging relevant product add‑ons.
- Adjust selling techniques to meet customers’ needs, read cues, and tailor the approach.
- Serve multiple customers simultaneously, managing priorities effectively.
- Follow up with customers to close the sale and maintain relationships.
- Use Coach’s tools and technology to support relationship building and clienteling.
- Promote a team selling environment and foster collaboration with internal and external customers.
- Maintain a calm, professional demeanor at all times.
- Ensure operational tasks are completed without impacting service or standards.
- Maintain sales floor, backroom, cash wrap, and visual merchandising to Coach standards.
- Replenish inventory on the sales floor as needed.
- Process shipments, restock shelves, and help maintain organizational standards in the stockroom.
- Assist cash‑wrap transactions, including purchases, returns, and exchanges.
- Clean and organize functional areas to meet visual merchandising expectations.
- 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including use of iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, internet, and walkie‑talkie.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and high‑traffic sales days.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, kneeling, lifting up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Work SetupBase Pay Range $15.00 to $19.50 per hour.
