About the role:
Justteachers is seeking an Autism Support Worker to join a vibrant specialist SEND school in the Carnforth area on a long‑term basis.
The full‑time post is due to start in April 2026
, with shortlisting currently taking place.
The school is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where pupils with autism can thrive academically and socially, focusing on personalised learning and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing one‑to‑one and small group support for pupils with autism
- Assisting teachers in implementing tailored learning strategies and interventions
- Promoting communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
- Relevant qualifications or experience in supporting children with autism
- Proven experience working in an educational or care setting
- Strong knowledge of autism support strategies and communication techniques
- Two education or school‑based references
