Avionics Systems Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Avionics Systems Consultant to join our team on-site in Warton. This role is ideal for a mid-level engineer with a strong background in flight avionics systems, radar technologies, and mission-critical equipment. You will play a key role in the design, development, and integration of advanced avionics systems for next-generation fighter aircraft.,

• Lead and support high-level concept development for flight avionics systems.
• Generate and manage formal system requirements using tools such as DOORS.
• Contribute to system and sub-system design and development across the avionics lifecycle.
• Apply knowledge of the V-Model lifecycle in the context of fighter aircraft systems.
• Support interface management using the ICT Tool (ADS internal).
• Collaborate on radar and IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) system integration.
• Provide input into mission computer equipment design and validation.
• Utilize Statemate for system modeling and simulation.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Prior experience in one or more of the following roles:
• Attack and Ident Engineer
• Front End Team Engineer
• Exposure to safety-critical systems and associated standards.
• Strong understanding of interface control documents and avionics architecture.
