Kenton Black Finance are exclusively supporting a privately owned SME as they look to appoint a new Accounts Assistant. Operating for over 50 years, the business is firmly rooted in their market and services various well-known brands across the country.

Your New Role as Accounts Assistant:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, as Accounts Assistant you will enjoy a varied role with duties including:

• Management of all purchase and sales ledger activities

• Reconciling accounts and supporting with all day to day accounting processes

• Supporting the Finance Manager with month end reporting and accounts preparation

• Interacting with various internal and external stakeholders including customers, suppliers and external accountants  

• Providing ad hoc administrative and office support as needed

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

To be considered, you will be an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant with a forward thinking and flexible approach to your work. Knowledge of the Xero accounting system is desirable and good Excel skills are required. Strong communication skills are also key, as this role involves liaising with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally.
