Engineering Manager – Industrial Automation & Manufacturing

What You’ll Do Player (Hands‑On Engineering – ~50%)- Design, program, and commission industrial automation systems (PLC, HMI, VFD, motion control, robotics, etc.)
- Collaborate with customers to define project scope and deliver high‑quality solutions
- Perform quality inspections and drive continuous improvement in production
- Document and implement engineering changes to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Lead and develop a team of technicians and field service professionals
- Manage production schedules, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure on‑time delivery
- Provide technical support for field service and customer escalations
- Support sales with technical expertise, quoting, and feasibility reviews
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of engineering experience, ideally in industrial automation or manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of electrical control systems and design tools (Solid Works, AutoCAD Electrical)
- Proven leadership skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities with calm, methodical problem‑solving
- Experience in controls engineering and field service
- Familiarity with motion control, robotics, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networking
- A passion for mentoring and developing technical talent
