Technical Product & Quoting Engineer is a role that blends engineering expertise, quoting acumen, and a collaborative spirit. You will evaluate new designs, develop cost estimates, and support product development for industries including aerospace, pipe fittings, hydraulics, and hoses.

• Develop accurate and competitive quotes for complex machined components and assemblies.
• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into manufacturable solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and cost.
• Lead product definition, requirements gathering, and business case development for new projects.
• Coordinate prototype evaluation, testing, and validation activities.
• Support supplier evaluation, sourcing decisions, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Monitor product quality and performance, driving continuous improvement.
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams and external partners.
• Track and report on key performance indicators such as revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field) or significant hands-on experience in a machine shop environment (Machinist background is highly valued).
• Proven experience in quoting, cost estimating, or product management within a precision manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tolerances, and blueprint reading (GD&T).
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and ERP systems.
• Background in aerospace, pipe fittings, hydraulics, hoses, or related industries.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, assertiveness, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

Salary range: $115,000-$135,000 + 15% Bonus

2 weeks of vacation, paid sick leave where applicable by state law, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k), and life insurance.
