About The JobThe Infrastructure Systems Engineer’s role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in‑house and hosted information systems that support core organizational functions. The Engineer will be part of a talented team of IT professionals that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security. Responsibilities include managing day‑to‑day operations of virtual server environments, O365 and shared business applications, telecommunications, multi‑location global network, and various other technical infrastructure.
The Engineer will help define and execute IT project requirement definition, solution research, validation, implementation, and documentation. The Engineer develops and implements systems to automate IT tasks, enhance security, and prevent service interruptions. Serve as tier‑3 IT support as required for local and remote users, and participate in all aspects of IT project execution and day‑to‑day IT functions, including technical innovation, change control, and documentation.
You’ll Do
- Be responsible for management and maintenance of on‑prem and cloud environments (Azure/AWS) to include storage, virtualized environment, servers, network devices, and productivity tools.
- Manage performance and maintain security of the corporate infrastructure including communications systems, network devices including edge switches, core switches, routers, other access devices, essential services, and sub‑systems.
- Monitor, test, troubleshoot hardware, and software problems pertaining to the corporate implementation and support of all versions of Windows Server, Exchange, SharePoint, Office 365, Microsoft 365 and other Microsoft technologies.
- Develop tools and processes to enable automated deployment and monitoring of cloud and on‑prem computer systems and applications.
- Develop, design, maintain required diagrams, documentation, and procedures to ensure continuous operation of supported infrastructure systems.
- Recommend and schedule repairs, upgrades, and patches with approval from Manager of Infrastructure.
- Help design, install, configure, and secure fault‑tolerant solutions for infrastructure servers and associated services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP).
- Interact and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, distributors, and contract consultants.
- Serve as an internal escalation point for Tier 3 issues and provide resolutions.
- Migrate systems from on‑premise and co‑location sites to cloud where applicable.

- Education & Certification
- Associate degree in Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred
Certifications:
CCNP, MCSE, VCP, ITIL, Security+, Azure, or AWS.
- Knowledge & Experience
- Five to seven years’ related work experience managing servers, storage, telecommunications, and network systems.
- 2+ years of experience managing systems in a large enterprise. Ability to appropriately prioritize support needs and delegate where appropriate.
- Experience interfacing with and managing vendors and managed service providers.
- Experience operating in a global company (Americas, EMEA & APAC).
- Experience with enterprise authentication systems (Okta).
- Hands‑on experience with virtualization products (Hyper‑V, VMware).
- Extensive knowledge and hands‑on experience with Microsoft Server operating systems & Active Directory (Server 2008‑2019, Windows Desktop 7‑11).
- Experience with cloud compute and storage (AWS and Azure) with cloud‑first approach.
- Previous experience developing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
