IT Manager

Overview

We are searching for an experienced hands-on IT Manager to join our team and help our company continue to grow! We are looking for someone with 10 years of experience managing IT and mentoring junior employees. This is an amazing opportunity to improve IT Policies, systems and procedures. This position is on-site M-F in Carol Stream, IL.

We are a 200 person organization and looking for someone who can set strategy, be hands on, and mentor a junior team – meaning, you might be directing the team during the day, but also rolling up your sleeves, working late hours on a server migration, or coming in on a weekend to perform upgrades when downtime is lowest.

Position is in office at our Carol Stream, IL headquarters

Pay Range: up to $125,000 base salary annually Compensation will vary based on experience, education, skills, and location.

• Experience managing/developing junior IT professionals
• Implemented a VMware/infrastructure upgrade
• Designed and implemented a backup strategy
• Monitored/program managed an ERP implementation. We are implementing D365 and Salesforce so prefer someone who has overseen an ERP implementation
• Designed and implemented a Cybersecurity solution
• Designed and implemented an enterprise disaster recovery solution

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems and bring 10+ years of experience to the role. You have a strong knowledge of network and PC operating systems, current network hardware, protocols, and standards including:

• HPE and Dell Power Edge servers
• VMware ESXi environments
• Cisco network infrastructure (switches, VLANs, routing)
• IBM Flash System SAN or similar enterprise storage systems
• Microsoft 365 platform (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, Intune)
• Azure Active Directory and hybrid identity setups

Preferred candidate holds the following certifications:

• VMware VCP
• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Administrator
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP
