Tyndale is seeking qualified candidates to join a talented editorial team producing Spanish Bibles and books. Primary responsibilities are copyediting manuscripts and proofreading typeset pages. Words such as diligent, self-disciplined, organized, attentive to details, collaborative, and productive describe the perfect candidate for this position.
A qualified candidate must be a college graduate or have equivalent editorial experience and must have an excellent knowledge of the English and Spanish languages, including grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and punctuation. Excellent oral and written communication skills and computer skills are a must! Candidates must have editorial judgment and knowledge of the complexities of writing, translating, editing, and proofreading.
Tyndale House is an evangelical Christian publishing house. The Spanish team works on a variety of study Bibles and Christian books. Qualified candidates must have a strong knowledge of the Bible and evangelical Christian thought, personal alignment with and adherence to the Bible as God’s Word, and agreement with our Statement of Faith.

Testing Selected candidates must successfully pass a Spanish/English editorial test prior to interview.
